The “METAXA 12 Stars” promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to all citizens or legal residents of the following countries (Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Greece – collectively, the “Countries”), who are 18 years old and above as of 1st April 2017. By participating in the Promotion, a participant warrants that he or she is a citizen or legal permanent resident of one of the participating Countries, is above 18 years old as of 1st April 2017 and accepts all local terms & conditions per his / her country’s regulations to be found in due time in the specific local versions of the website. All employees of the Organisers or affiliated companies, Rémy Cointreau Group, partnering agencies (Satisfaction, Interweave) and distribution companies of all participating countries are excluded from participating at the Promotion and the same applies to employees of other companies involved in ensuring competition’s smooth execution. Their relatives are also excluded from participating.
    Within, after going through the 3 experiential sequences, users will be presented with a call to join the contest. Then, users will have to submit their personal details (Name, Surname, e-mail, Country and telephone number). At the end, they will have the opportunity to share their experience with their friends via e-mails, Facebook, Twitter in order to ask their friends to participate.
    Eligible participating users will participate to a draw in order to win the opportunity to meet Mike Horn and spend some hours with him during one of his explorations, in a specific place of the world where he will be after April 2017. The destination will be revealed after being agreed with Mike Horn and according to his plan of the time and his availability. The experience will by no means be dangerous or include any expedition that can bring participants in danger.
    No purchase or payment is required to participate in the Promotion but participants are responsible for some of the costs of participation, including taxes or telecommunication costs.
    The promotion starts firstly in Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and United Kingdom as of 3/10/2016 and the other participating countries will follow no earlier than November 2016.
    3.1 A total of six (6) winners and six (6) substitute / alternative winners from all the participating Countries will be chosen following a draw, after the end of METAXA 12 Stars’ Digital Campaign. The draw will take place (exact date to be defined) at the end of the promotion to all participating markets either at S.E.A. METAXA or at the offices of each participating market. If a winner does not reply within 5 working days, then a substitute winner will be selected to take his/her place. Participants will be required to enter their name/surname/e-mail/country of origin in a contact form to be filled after the completion of the exploration experience on
    3.2 The Prize of the campaign across all participating markets will be a trip to one of the following destinations (to be determined after the end of The Promotion): New Zealand, Australia, Japan, India, Mongolia, Russia (the “Prize”). The trip will take place between 1/4/2017 and 1/10/2017 and it will contain:
    a. 4 to 5 days of accommodation covered (including meals). Winners will accompany Mike Horn in his activities, at least during one (1) day.
    b. Organisers will cover the following costs: economy airline tickets and all transportation costs to and from the selected destination, other travel expenses linked to accommodation and food.
    – Winners must give their written consent of full responsibility on being physically able to make the trip following medical consultation. According to regulations of each participating country, winners may be asked to provide a medical certificate. Winners must possess all legal and necessary travel documents, and be legally authorized to travel and leave their country. The trip will possibly be managed with a partnering travel agency and winners will be covered by full travel medical insurance.
    – The winners will be asked to confirm their availability on 1 (or 2 maximum) specific available dates that the Organisers will propose.
    – In case of winners’ unavailability or incapability of traveling on the proposed dates, substitute winners will be selected in their place.
    – A film maker (or videographer, or content creator) might travel with the group of winners. All winners will be requested to give their written consent to be filmed or interviewed, or photographed during the trip. This content will be possibly broadcasted live or at an earlier stage via the METAXA own digital media and the press. By accepting the Prize, the winners agree to be actively cooperative, and not to engage in any unreasonable behaviour.
    – The Prize winners grant to the Organisers the exclusive right to use their names and all materials obtained during or through such interviews, photography or filming in all media in all languages, including for future promotional and marketing purposes in any manner whatsoever.
    3.3 The participation or the Prize of the Promotion cannot be transferred.

    Once again, all employees of the Organisers or affiliated companies, Rémy Cointreau Group, partnering agencies (Satisfaction, Interweave) and distribution companies of all participating countries are excluded from participating at the competition and the same applies to employees of other companies involved in ensuring competition’s smooth execution.     The Organisers disclaim all warranties with respect to the Promotion or the Prize, which are provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Except for components of the Prize as described above, all other costs incurred shall be the responsibility of the participant. The Organisers shall not cover any other costs.
